The US Department of Energy and Washington State Department of Commerce have so much cash they are are teaming up to pay you to dispose of your energy & water hog appliances to Save the Planet and stimulate the economy at the same time.

If these two agencies have so much cash to give away maybe they should consider dumping all those energy/carbon taxes they are considering and give legal Americans a real tax cut?

HHS & CDC Considering Sweeping New Quarantine Regulations

HHS and the CDC are crafting new regulations that will incorporate public health lessons learned since 2005, Pearson said in the statement after, “There were a lot of questions about how plausible it was to treat airports as a place where you could stop and inspect and quarantine people,” Baker said Thursday. She did not elaborate and referred questions to HHS. HHS spokeswoman Vicki Rivas-Vazquez said late Thursday the department had no further comment.

Technology called “laser etching,” developed in part by ARS researchers, uses lasers to “tattoo” produce and could someday replace current labeling practices.
