This committee is comprised of some well meaning folks who want to preserve Snohomish County farming for the next 100 years. It is an admirable goal but unfortunately they do not understand the big picture and that they are being manipulated by global policy which is not necessary good for our country or our county.
So while I commend them for this project anyone reading this should do so with your handy dandy *Glossary sun glasses* on. Sift the entire document not with your Webster’s understanding of words but by their new Ag redefinition or morphing.
Y’all might want to check out if you have a similar committee working on farmland preservation in your county.
