FAO One Health Conference Condemns Traditional Farming

A One Health Conference was held by the FAO recently in Lyons, France with  the FAO’s Animal Health Service, Wildlife Disease Association, and EU Wildlife Disease Association and voiced concern that wildlife species are supposedly increasing at risk from increased agricultural production, loss of habitat, and wildlife-domestic animal disease transfer, and bring novel (lab created pathogens to humans and animals alike).   This gathering convened a Scientific Task Force on Wildlife and Ecosystem Health and signed legally binding multi-lateral environmental agreements and new type of agreement bypassing sovereign nations known as MEA’s.

According to the FAO, remembering that this is a self-appointed institution, the next decades need to increase sustainable animal and crop production.  You may be wondering what sustainable agriculture is?  It is two fold, under global control and is totally manipulated products.  For instance, under duress, I just bought some tortilla shells and on the label it actually said that there were no natural ingredients!  This was a sustainable label assuring the public that this product did not adversely impact the environment by taking real ingredients from the earth. Incredible!

Another conclusion of this bunch of nut cases was that higher food production to feed people put animals in close contact with other animals and even humans creating an unhealthy environment.  In some plans state that if you have more than one animal you are a hoarder and evilly damaging the earth.  They then go a bit further and state that pathogens will circulate from animal to animal more easily then adapting and change, rapidly spreading around the world.

They do concede that real historical farming does have great benefits like increasing food production, stimulating economic growth, and lowering food prices and improving FOOD SECURITY!

The negative side is that animals have an elimination system causing habitat loss.  One wonders about the intelligence of these people because wildlife also has the same elimination processes.  They also say that the soil will be exploited by productive lands.  They fail to acknowledge that wild plants would grow in the same area so what is the difference?  And last but not least historical heirloom plants and animals actually cause climate change because they are not modified as part of the climate change scheme.

The group demanded that meat must be created in a sustainable way which means not growing it naturally but in a laboratory.  Have you noticed all the zero calorie waters that are beef flavored or pork, or chicken?  What good are they?  People need calories and real food to eat to maintain health.  Part of sustainable farming is pest management. I was told during a sustainable farming class that I had to spend one day a month (if I could do it in a day) documenting each bug and their habitat on my acreage!  It also says that the average person cannot use pesticides but agribusiness can use all they want especially the infamous GMO roundup ready crops. They also are beginning to regulate ecosystem preservation schemes that are in reality monitored by the UN.  We are also to rotate crops and pasture, though large companies do not have to follow those rules to reduce impact to soil.

The whole premise of sustainable farming is for the “health, safety, and welfare” of people, animals, wildlife and economy.  In actuality, wink, wink, that is a code word for the much abused Emergency Clause which suspends Constitutions and the peoples right to referendum.

In the nutshell the UN and partners would have you believe that sustainable agriculture controlled by them and you paying lots of money and excessive regulations will eradicate the woes of the world.  It won’t so stop letting them run your life and take your money.  Historical and traditional farming has got mankind this far in history.  It is hard to improve on something that works so let’s not bother.

10  Minute Citizen:  Say No to the Green movement.  Boycott green products that are just a scheme to get your money and add a few more luxuries for the likes of Al Gore.
