It is fair season. You and your family probably has and will go to your local or state fairs this year. Are you aware that for some time policy-makers have been taking incremental steps towards eradicating interaction between humans and animals. Policy-makers want you to fear contact with animals and loose your historical interaction with them. If these manipulators are successful the time will soon come that you will be increasingly more dependent upon health destructive government-controlled agriculture.
So what are these anti-traditional farming smucks up to? The biggest thing is that they want you to believe you are going to catch the flu this year from farm animals. The CDC is recommending that facilities minimize human-animal contact and forget eating that cotton-candy in animal barns though they do not cite the reason why. In fact they go so far as to say that you should not take toys, pacifiers, spill-proof cups, baby bottles, or strollers into swine barns. Nanny state continues their terrorism campaign by clearly stating that children should not nail-bite or thumb suck or play in animal areas. Fear-mongering continues suggesting that people with medical conditions not enter pig areas and they proceed to list susceptible people.
Yes! I want to see the Nanny-State Fair terrorism document!
Small farmers want to put your mind at ease. Small farmers will not take sick animals to the fair. There are also health checks for all animals coming to the fair so sick animals will be turned away by veterinary staff. Don’t let this CDC fear-mongering campaign impact enjoying one of America’s finest traditions of going to the fair and seeing and interacting with a diverse number of animals. There is nothing more special than seeing a young child’s eyes light up petting a goat or holding a snugly bunny at the fair.
From the trenches,
