WHO Knows Fukishima Radiation Impact

By

The World Health Organization, the WHO, knows the health hazard of the Fukishima radiological disaster but is buried in their bureaucratic website which occasionally surfaces in other public places.  It is a little late, but better late than never.  As I was meandering thought the myriad of current regulatory proposals underway for food control I discovered attachments concerning the radiological impact of Fukishima that did make it out to the public with clarity.

In September 2011 the WHO asked, and answered the question many of us have verbally or secretly wondered, “Is there a risk of radioactive exposure from food contamination?” Continue reading

Washington State Publishes Japanese Tsunami Debris Brochure

They clearly state they have tested beach debris samples and they are not radioactive.  They came from Japan but they are not radioactive.  And you trust Washington State agencies who pull down the radiation levels in the state, right?

The debris flyer was interesting other than the fact it left out radioactive materials that are washing ashore in Washington State.  Continue reading

Part 6: Radiation! Evacuation & The Community Reception Center

By

Celeste Bishop

Radiation fallout is a lethal and invisible stalker.  You are the greatest advocate to ensure your health.  Policy-makers will try, but you must ultimately make the choice, whether to stay in a shelter that will not adequately protect you on a radiation-intense area or go to a Community Reception Center.  Failure to relocate may mean that you succumb to acute radiation syndrome or other chronic life-threatening consequences.  After a nuclear explosion authorities will be doing large-scale, phased evacuations.  Evacuation is the most difficult item in the Fallout Preparedness Checklist to implement.  Once you evaluate your situation, determine to shelter-in-place if you feel it is prudent to do so, or seize your opportunity to relocate quickly, before federal authorities tell you where and what you will be doing.  Most people who evacuate often flee to nearby friends and family and do not report designated shelters or CRC’s annoying those tasked with organizing evacuations.

Part 5: Radiation! Mapping & Monitoring Radiation Fallout

By

Just how much does the government know about the Fukishima radiation fallout and preparation for other intentional or accidental nuclear incidents?

Currently the government, academia, and industry coordinate under private-public partnerships.  These partnerships include mapping and monitoring sophisticated capabilities.  A contaminated area which is a threat to human health is referred to as the DFZ.  This area is mapped out.  Each DFZ has a unique footprint.  In the case of Fukishima, international and national guidelines went into effect within hours of the event, although in every event there are learning experiences and failure to follow procedures.  The official government statement is that large radioactive particles settle within 1-2 hours and a DFZ is generally established extending 20 miles down-wind in a keyhole pattern initially. Part 4: Radiation! Communications

By

Celeste Bishop

Communication with the public is critical after a nuclear event such as Fukishima.  The government and their partners have decided to notify the public what they want them to know through “well-chosen” technologies and organizational procedures.  Although this document discusses advance fallout community preparation it does not expound on the situation currently at hand other than to mention that normal official warnings will be degraded.  Public communication strategies that are being used are grounded in what is known about social and psychological processes that people go through when hearing the information NOT what they need to know to protect themselves and their families. Part 3: Radiation! Owner Liability, Shelter Hardening & Child Seizure

ACTION 3:  Enable all building owners and operators—from individual householders to skyscraper managers—to assess shelter attributes and to teach others.

Shelter from radiological fallout is critical for survival.  Americans now have more thing to be concerned about regarding their housing and that how and if it will protect them from nuclear fallout.  According to The National Human Activity Pattern Survey by Klepeis NE, Nelson WC, and Ott WR, Americans spend 87% of their time in enclosed buildings and 6 % of their time in enclosed vehicles. http://eetd.lbl.gov/IE/pdf/LBNL-47713.pdf. Accessed June 14, 2012.

Americans are most likely to be in their residences from 11PM to 5 AM and in public places between 7 AM to 5 PM.  Policy makers are beginning to shift responsibility to property owners to advance government messaging about protection from radioactive fallout on their premises. Continue reading

Part 2: Radiation! ‘Teachable Moments’, Mind Control & Slave Cadres

By

Celeste Bishop

I am doing a series from a citizen who is concerned about the current Fukishima radiation fallout. This series is based on Center of Biosecurity of UPMC presentation.  Unfortunately that presentation was yet another propaganda platform for consistent messaging from the government agenda.  That agenda does not include your survival through this disaster storm.  This is the second article in a seven part series.

Time is of the essence so it is my desire to dig right in on the referenced reports action items.

ACTION 2:  Conduct an ongoing (Mind Control) public education program to inform the public about the effects of a nuclear fallout and how people can protect themselves under the government thumb.

As we saw with Fukishima a radiological or nuclear event can be a “no notice” event.  Public education in regards to how to deal with radiation fallout has diminished since the cessation of Civil Defense training back in the 1950’s and 1960’s.  This creates a massive environment where people have become dependent upon the federal government for protection.  The government admits that public education is key to survival and yet they have neglected to educate the public while they are hell-bent, on fire building underground facilities to maintain their continuity of operations to protect themselves.  So what is the government doing to protect you the tax paying citizen?  Using an already existing mass education (mind control) program they have created an empirically based “best principles” which means it gushed forth from the United Nations, pre-incident, “Preliminary Topics for a Fallout Preparedness Education Campaign.”  Since this campaign is pre-incident it is a little late isn’t it?  Continue reading

Part 1: Radiation! Control, Messaging & Mapping

This is the first article in a seven part series.

ACTION :   Obtain broad community backing and understanding of nuclear incident preparedness to sustain the program (government revenue) over time.

Fallout is a broad community concern. There is no single entity that can deliver this public service. Only a centralized empire expert in radiological control is essential as well as securing a Public-Private Partnership including businesses, schools, nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and average citizens to weather the radiological fallout storm.  To achieve this end command and control “leadership” is necessary” according to the powers-that-be.

Task 1.1—Cultivate command and control “leadership” behind the goal of community preparedness for fallout. Continue reading

Despite Public Pressure WA State DOH Takes DOWN WA Fukishima Radiation Readings

Last month I was advised the Washington State DOH would be creating a new website.  They asked for comments and I wrote and told them that my readers wanted to see radiation readings even if the DOH didn’t feel that they were high.  I had a lengthy correspondence with one of DOH radiation experts and this is the result:

Let me clarify.  Washington State Department of Health has removed, after soliciting public comment and public request submitted, Fukishima radiation levels.  One can only assume the following paraphrase applies (image is from the new DOH website):

‘Ha-Ha!  We know the the radiation is going up, we don’t care what you think because in the end  all of you useless people are going to die!’

We need to call Washington State DOH and make their life pretty miserable so we can get radiation levels to the people who do not have radiation meters.
