On April 20, 2012 the UN General Assembly began an interactive dialogue on ‘Harmony with Nature’ to commemorate International Mother Earth Day and to soften minds leading up to the RIO+21 Sustainability Conference. The opening debate given by Deputy Secretary General Asha-Rose Migrio called on countries to EMBRACE:
- Low-carbon,
- Resource-efficient,
- PRO-POOR ECONOMIC MODEL that will ensure progress while promoting harmony with nature.
One of her pivotal quotes was “Decoupling growth from pollution and nature resource depletion will not put a brake on development, as those WEDDED to the status quo still argue. On the contrary, it will make growth sustainable.â€Â  She went on to reaffirm green commitments made at Rio and Johannesburg by unelected, self-appointed, and corrupt people who believe that it is their role to inject new impetus and chart a sustainable way forward.
At this point we need to pause for a moment. The drivers of the road to hell are very particular with their semantics. Traditionally, what does the word embrace really mean? According to the Webster’s Dictionary it means:
To take;
To clasp or enclose in the arms;
To press to the bosom;
In token affection;
To seize eagerly;
To comprehend;
To compromise;
To receive;
To have carnal intercourse with;
To put on;
To attempt to influence.
Anyone with discernment and and who has hidden the Holy Scriptures in their heart a cursory view of this summary will stair alarm in one’s soul. We are directed by God to cleave to God alone and we certainly should not be engaging in carnal intercourse while consorting with the harlots of green philosophy.   The biblical foundation of embracing is antithetical to each one of the above definitions. Let us proceed. When we are wedded, we are married. Marriage traditionally is a covenant that takes place between a man and a woman, not development. The purveyors of green governance are making an attempt to redefine common words that have been used for centuries to destroy the old meanings. Embracing a poor economic model is nothing more than old-fashioned slavery. But we can choose God and become free. In Jeremiah 29:11 we find, “For I know the plans I have for you,†declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plan to give you hope and a future.”
Speakers found at the debate are those who steal wealth from the peoples of the earth as they flit around to expensive conferences engaging in high carbon use as they condescendingly demand that peoples of the world abandon their lifestyle to live in poverty. This illuminating comment was made at the debate, “that we are all part of an Earth family. Earth rights are human rights; they are not separate rights, they are one continuum of rights.” Rights are given to the common man by his Creator, God, not bestowed by Mother Earth. We must pause again, for we are the children of the Most High God not an Earth family.
Ms. Shiva continued with her teeth barred like a predator moving in for the kill, stirring the pot of fear into the hearts of men:
IF we do not live in harmony with nature
(by their definition)
IF our soils are toxic and desertified
(polluted by their greed and corruption)
IF our water is mined
(we voluntarily give up God’s blessing of water allowing an evil gatekeeper)
IF our biodiviersity is pushed to extinction
(by their deployment of genetically modified creatures to kill and destroy life)
IF our climate is so unstable we can’t grow crops
(by their geo-engineering of the planet)
THERE WILL BE NO FOOD!!!
How novel Ms. Shiva! Food as a weapon! The concept has been deployed for centuries.
The next panel exposed that the gross domestic product (GDP) needs to be ‘supplemented’ by OTHER MEASUREMENT TOOLS FOR THE MEASURING PROGRESS for social well-being and environmental sustainability. Why? Because multi-national companies are molding a new paradigm and eradicating the old standard of measure. Scripture warns us to be wary of those who implement unequal weights and measures. Leviticus 19:36 declares: “Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt,†alluding that if we do not have just weights we shall return to slavery.
So what is the best way to harmonize with nature? The only way you can truly come into harmony is to get to know the Creator of all Nature.  When you come into fellowship with Him you can count on blessing, peace, direction, and most of all salvation from all evil. Pick up a Bible or Torah and learn about the Creator who is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Matthew 10:28Â And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
